The sixth of 12 auspicious animal symbols, the snake confers wisdom, intelligence, independence, and charm on those born under its influence in 2025, 2013, 2001, 1989, and every 12th preceding year.
GOLD PRIVY MARK
The coin portrays a coiled blue snake on the ground beneath hanging leaves. Also included in the design is a 1-gram pure gold privy insert portraying the Chinese character for ‘Snake’, the inscription ‘SNAKE 2025’, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.
H.M. KING CHARLES III EFFIGY
The coin’s obverse bears the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, as well as the weight, fineness, and the monetary denomination

Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the coin comes in a classic display case with a clear lid, and an illustrated shipper. ABOUT THE PERTH MINT
The Perth Mint opened in 1899 as the British Royal Mint's 3rd branch in Australia. The historical Hay Street location handled gold refining until moving to a modern facility in April 1990. Ownership of the mint was transferred to the Government of Western Australia in July of 1970. Under an agreement with the Commonwealth Treasury, they were empowered to mint and market gold, silver, and platinum as Australian legal tender to investors and collectors worldwide.
