Originating from European folklore, The Yale of Beaufort is a weird yet wonderful beast with a white goat-like or antelope body spotted with gold, four legs, the gilded tusks of a boar, a lion's tail and large horns that can counterattack from all quarters. The Yale of Beaufort was used as a supporter for the arms of John, Duke of Bedford, and by England's House of Beaufort and was a symbol of Lady Margaret Beaufort, mother of Henry VII.
